Matthew 6:12 (KJV) And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

This prayer reinforces the Old Testament. Reinforces what you had to do for God to do his part. It was conditional on you doing your part. Forgiveness was conditional on you forgiving other.

This is the prayer for those who aren't saved. Those who do not know the Lord.

Now we know that Jesus died for our sins.

Ephesians 1:7
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

This prayer was told before Jesus gave his life, before he died for the sins of the whole world. Before he rose from the dead to conquer death and sin for us.

Matthew 9:2 (KJV) And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee. Mark 2:5 Luke 5:20

Forgiveness of sins was not granted and sickness had right to click on your body. Once sins are forgiven, sickness had no right to exist on his body.
