1 John 2:15-17
Mai makemake aku i ko ke ao nei, ʻaʻole hoʻi i nā mea o kēia ao. Inā e makemake aku ana kekahi i ko ke ao nei, ʻaʻole i loko ona ka makemake i ka Makua;
No ka mea, ʻo nā mea a pau ma ko kēia ao, ʻo ke kuko o ke kino, a me ke kuko o ka maka, a me ka hoʻohanohano o kēia ola ʻana, ʻaʻole ia no ka Makua mai, akā, no ke ao nei nō ia.
A ʻo ke ao nei, ke paneʻe aku nei a me nā kuko ona: akā, ʻo ka mea e hana ana i ko ke Akua makemake, e mau loa ana nō ia.
