A study of 2 Thessalonians 2:13-20 based on "Explore the Bible: Spring 2022" from Lifeway. Week three of seven-week lesson in the book of 1 Thessalonians prepared by Gary Stieber for Houston's First Baptist Church.
In the first half of chapter two, Paul recapped his ministry in Thessalonica. In part of that, he talked about having the boldness to declare the gospel, along with the gentleness of a nursing mother, and the encouragement of a loving father with his own children all at the same time.
In the second half of chapter two, he tells us more about those who received the gospel, those who have rejected the gospel, and how their response to being confronted with the gospel defines his or her future. We’ll also see the result of Paul being confronted by Satan.
