If God could save David, then he can save you and me.

It is written, "And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave their testimony, and said, 'I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.'"

• Unauthorized Sacrifice… 1 Samuel 13:8-12

○ Saul decided to offer the burnt offering himself when Samuel delayed
○ Samuel showed up as soon as he had finished
○ Saul's excuse was that there was a threat, the people were scattered, and Samuel wasn't there

• Be Honest… 1 Samuel 13:13-14
