In this video we will focus on the subject of who blinded the minds of the disobedient Israelites. Many falsely believe that God blinds people and hardens their hearts. When we examine the context of verses that talk about blinding and hardening in light of the entirety of Scripture, we can learn that God always responds to our free will decisions to either obey or disobey, walk in unbelief or walk by faith. This video will look at the context of who blinded the minds of the Israelites and why. Context is so extremely important to understand what it means in Scripture when it speaks of God hardening or blinding people. We must remember that God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. God's will is for all to be saved, but God will never go against man's free will ability to choose. God does not force His love on us. It is freely given and offered and must be freely received in faith. The just shall live by faith. This vail and blindness can be done away through Jesus Christ by faith in the gospel. This Scripture isn't saying that those who have been blinded can never see because they've been blinded. It's revealing the importantance of how the gospel needs to be preached to the lost so that the vail/blindness can be lifted and they can see the light.
