Title: The One Who Have Seen the Covenant in Advance!
Scripture: Joshua 8: 1 - 2
1 And the Lord said to Joshua, “Do not fear and do not be dismayed. Take all the fighting men with you, and arise, go up to Ai. See, I have given into your hand the king of Ai, and his people, his city, and his land.
2 And you shall do to Ai and its king as you did to Jericho and its king. Only its spoil and its livestock you shall take as plunder for yourselves. Lay an ambush against the city, behind it.”

Message Outline :
Intro: Problems are the path that helps you confirm the covenant in your life
1) How can I save my self?
2) How can I save my family?
3) How can I save my work place?
4) How can I save my school?
5) How can I save my church?

1. The one who have seen the covenant in advance (v.1)
“And the Lord said to Joshua, “Do not fear and do not be dismayed. Take all the fighting men with you, and arise, go up to Ai. See, I have given into your hand the king of Ai, and his people, his city, and his land”
(1) Moses
(2) Joshua (1:2-3,9)
“Moses my servant is dead. Now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, into the land that I am giving to them, to the people of Israel. 3 Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given to you, just as I promised to Moses.”
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go”
(3) Spiritual Summit

2. The answers of those who has seen the Covenant in advance
(1) Follows God’s plans
(2) Overcomes self and environment (v.2)
“And you shall do to Ai and its king as you did to Jericho and its king. Only its spoil and its livestock you shall take as plunder for yourselves. Lay an ambush against the city, behind it.”
(3) Experiences the fulfillment of the word

Conclusion: Start and finish with the covenant (v.30-35)
(1) Built an altar – Worship
(2) Offered a burnt offering – Covenant
(3) Joshua wrote on the stones a copy of the law of Moses – Word of God
(4) He blessed all the people in front of the Ark of the Covenant
(5) He read to everyone the law of Moses including the sojourners who lived among them
