Title: Peace and Comfort Given by God!
Scripture: Joshua 19 : 11

Message Outline :
“The lot of the tribe of the people of Benjamin according to its clans came up, and the territory allotted to it fell between the people of Judah and the people of Joseph.”


Intro: Start of blessing
Set up the tent of meeting (v.1)
“Then the whole congregation of the people of Israel assembled at Shiloh and set up the tent of meeting there. The land lay subdued before them.”
(1) Shiloh = rest or peace, comes out 4 times
(2) The whole congregation of the people of Israel assembled = Oneness
(3) and set up the tent of meeting = Worship

1. Peace and comfort of Benjamin (v.11)
“The lot of the tribe of the people of Benjamin according to its clans came up, and the territory allotted to it fell between the people of Judah and the people of Joseph”
(1) Judah and Joseph was among the most blessed tribes out of the 12 tribes of Israel
(2) Fulfillment of Moses' blessing upon Benjamin (Deut.33:12)
“Of Benjamin he said, “The beloved of the Lord dwells in safety. The High God surrounds him all day long, and dwells between his shoulders.”
(3) We too get to enjoy the peace and comfort of being with God

2. Foundational blessings
(1) Tribe of Benjamin was given a very specific boundaries of land
(2) God has also given us blessing of the kingdom of God

Conclusion: Overcome your obstacles
(1) Obstacle of old scars
(2) Obstacle of old spiritual problems
(3) Obstacle of future worries
