Title: Why are people unhappy?
Scripture: Romans 3 : 23 - 24
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
24 and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,”

Message Outline:
Intro: My search for true peace and happiness

1. It is because people are separated from God
(1) Disobedience (Unbelief) (Rom.3:23)
(2) Result: State of sin (Rom.3:10)
(3) Suffering comes
(4) Struggling to find a solution

2. When did this unhappiness begin?
(1) With Adam and Eve
(2) Root cause: Unbelief (Original Sin)
(3) Result: suffering and curses

3. How long will this unhappiness last? (Mt.12:43-45)
● The more you try to solve it the worse it gets

4. Why doesn’t this unhappiness go away?
(1) There is a being who brings us unhappiness
(2) Satan, Devil, Demon
(3) When did he appear?

5. What happens if you don’t know God
(1) You belong to the devil (Jn.8:44)
(2) Idol worship (Eph.2:2-3)
(3) Mental problems (Mt11:28)
(4) Physical problems (Ac.8:-4-8)
(5) Death and judgment (Lk.16:19-31)
(6) Spiritual inheritance (Ex.20:4-5)

6. The peace given by this world is temporary
(1) It is worldly
(2) It is carnal(physical)
(3) It is only for pleasure
(4) It causes greater unhappiness

Conclusion: God’s Solution
(1) Gen.3:15 – Offspring of the woman
(2) Ex.3:18 – Blood Sacrifice
(3) Is.7:14 – Immanuel
(4) Mt.16:16 – Jesus is the Christ
