Verse of the day:
25-Joel.2.26" class="scriptRef">Joel 2:25-26 25 The LORD says, “I will give you back what you lost to the swarming locusts, the hopping locusts,
the stripping locusts, and the cutting locusts. It was I who sent this great destroying army against you.
26 Once again you will have all the food you want, and you will praise the LORD your God, who does these miracles for you. Never again will my people be disgraced.
The Lord says I will give you back what you lost…Restoration is restoring what was lost.
God gives us a promise that he will restore, and He will give back and we will not go without! Theses are some wonderful promises, but the story starts out by saying it was I (God) who set the great destroying army. What is going on here? God sends the locusts, not just one type but multiply types to be sure the destruction of crops and supplies are bad and then He turns around to say I will restore.
I’m thinking, yo, what’s up God, why destroy and restore why not just leave well enough alone?
