• What can we learn from Jesus’ perfect example of resisting temptation against the devil? See Hebrews 4:15-16. As a child of God, will you ask the Spirit to lead you against these similar temptations – desire of the flesh, desire of the eyes and pride of life? Share practical solutions to resist temptations. Are there verses in the Bible that can help you cling onto the word of God?
• The devil tested Jesus by tempting Him to question the sufficiency of God’s word. Do you believe in the sufficiency of God’s word and lived it out? When are you tempted to doubt the sufficiency of God’s word and what are some examples of well-meaning advice given which are not in line with what Scripture instructs?
