The covenant God made with the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is very specific. In fact, the Bible tells us without that context we have no savior, and we have no redemption. So, it’s troubling to hear prominent voices seeking to convince us that the modern nation of Israel and biblical Israel are not connected. It isn’t true. Church, without the awareness of what is happening in the world around us, without the knowledge of God’s Word, and without the wisdom and discernment of God’s Holy Spirit, we will be easily manipulated and frequently deceived. It’s time for the Church to find a voice and ground it in Scripture, and come to clearly understand who we are and what God has called to be for such a time as this.
