Whenever the gospel is preached, some will laugh or mock, some will put off, and others will cleave and believe.

It is written, "And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead."

John Calvin had five central ideas that still permeate the religious world today. #calvinism

• T = Total Depravity is the false idea that all men have inherited the sin of Adam through their parents and are morally unable to choose to follow God and be saved because of their own depraved, sinful nature which extends to every part of their personality.

• U = Unconditional Election
• L = Limited Atonement
• I = Irresistible Grace
• P = Perseverance of the Saints

CALL TO ACTION
• We cannot tiptoe with the truth!
