Summary – The Devil’s a liar and it’s one of his all-time favourite tactics against God’s people and the Church. John warns believers’ of this constant danger and encourages them to remember they aren’t helpless in this battle – they have been anointed by the Holy Spirit and are able to discern truth from error.
