A. The early years of life of Esther with all dreams deprived
1. Despairing events:
losing her country and parents, and growing up under her cousin, Est 2:5-7
2. Despairing situations:
living as a foreigner of the captive in a remote foreign land Est 2:10

B. God's providence working to revive a dream
1. Touching man's heart:
God who works by touching men's heart Est 2:15-18; Prov 16:9
2. Providential event:
God who works in the history and circumstances Esth 2:21-23; 6:1-11; 7:9-10; 10:3; Rom 8:28

C. Esther living for a dream that gives a meaning to her life
1. Meaning and dream of life:
Seeking God's will for her country and people 10-14; Gen 45:4-8; Mt 16:18
2. Prayer in faith:
Seeking God's will and help through fasting and prayer 15-17; Joel 2:12-14
