A sermon delivered by C.H. Spurgeon, Wednesday morning April 30, 1884
Here we come to a very familiar and important text. Spurgeon was delivering the Annual Sermon of the Baptist Missionary Society. There had been some deaths amongst the missionaries from Malaria, and the speaker touches upon this.
Spurgeon approaches this important subject of the will of God with his usual boldness, originality and flair. Consider what you or I might have said upon this theme, and then hear the preacher. Who but Spurgeon would consider the relationship between earth and heaven in this way, or speak with such relevance to his bereaved hearers? I hope it will be a real blessing to you!
