God’s instruction, through Paul, concerning the law is nuanced and supremely balanced. He teaches us that the law is holy, righteous, and good (Rom 7:12), and that it is not abolished through faith (Rom 3:31), but also that we should not desire to be subject to it (Gal 4:21).
