This Psalm explanation is based upon my own presuppositions and is an example of implementing my basic approach to explaining the Psalms in worship and for worship. My four-point philosophy is: (1) Psalm explanations are not Bible studies; (2) Psalms were written for congregational choirs; (3) Psalms are for all cultures; they are cross-cultural; (4) Psalms are for all generations; they are trans-generational.
