Questions for Reflection and Discussion:
1. Daniel desired to know the truth about the vision from the Lord, even though it scared him. Has there ever been a time where you've let something scare you so much you haven't taken it to the Lord? Is there something in your life now that you need to let the Lord help you understand?
2. Do you catch yourself looking to the kingdoms of this earth as "all that there is" sometimes? How can we as Christians make sure that we don't get wrapped up in the kingdoms of this earth, to the point of thinking they are the best that there is?

Over this next week, think and pray on these questions in light of the text of Daniel 7. Pray that the Lord would excite you for the things ahead and that you wouldn't shy away from the Biblical prophecy because of fear or lack of understanding. Having a right mindset on prophecy helps us to live on mission for Jesus.
