b. Wisdom comes through meditating on God and His word

THE CHALLENGE TO MINISTER IN SONGS

1. To make known the LORD

2. To reach the next generation to know God

INSPIRATION TO SING

1. Meditating on the word of God (Psalm 89:3 – 4)

a. What God said to David concerning His covenant to him

b. What God promised David in His covenant

2. Meditating on who God is

a. The wonders of God (Psalm 89:5a)

b. The faithfulness of God (Psalm 89:5b)

c. The might of God (Psalm 89:6 – 10)

d. The Sovereignty of God over the world He created (Psalm 89:11 – 12)

e. The strong hand of God (Psalm 89:13)

f. The many wonderful virtues of God (Psalm 89:14)

3. Meditating on the blessedness of the people of God

a. They rejoice in God (Psalm 89:15a)
