Paul would have given his life for his fellow Israelites to come to know Christ. Paul had to assure them that even though they had dropped the ball God was not finished with them yet. The church needs to also pay attention to the spiritual responsibility we have to be the new light under the new covenant as God prepares to revisit the Israelite nation and we prepare for his return. The gospel is the power of God for salvation also to the Jewish nation.
