#Overcoming_Stagnation
Have You Blessed Your Day?
1 Chronicles 4:9 -10.
"And Jabez was more honorable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. 10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested."
Stagnation can lead to sorrow, difficulty, setbacks, fruitlessness and pain. As a believer, you need to stop it from spreading its tentacles before it stops your life.
Jabez was honorable man, but he never experienced this honor. There was just no progress in his life. Until he woke up from his spiritual slumber, claimed his inheritance and its benefits, he had never gotten his deliverance. Likewise to Caleb (Joshua 14:6-15).
To eliminate stagnation:
- You must realize and acknowledge your problem. I Chronicles 4:9
- Discover the promises of God for your life in His Word, determine to stand on those promises and dwell on that Word for your breakthrough.
- Acknowledge that the Almighty God is your only source of help. Know the kind of God you serve. Dan 11:32.
- Have the knowledge of the power of God and be faithful in all situations.
- Never give up on prayers. Pray without ceasing: every yoke will be broken.
Until you get to the point where you get tired of your circumstances and purpose that enough is enough, there will be no change.
