Disciples were first called Christians at Antioch. Many believe that the word “Christian” is a label to describe an ideology or set of beliefs similar to a political label. Others believe “Christian” is in reference to a culture or upbringing that has shaped a person’s life and experience. However, the only real Christians are those who have been miraculously transformed by a work of the Holy Spirit. There are several marks of a true Christian. Is your life marked by such things?

Here at The Rock Church of Fenton, Michigan, we believe the mission of all followers of Christ is found in Matthew 28:19-20, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

The Rock Church exists to
PREACH the Word of God,
BAPTIZE those who profess Christ and
DISCIPLE them to observe the Word of God.
