There are two extremes when it comes to calling upon the name of the Lord. One camp says that you must hear the Gospel audibly and must confess verbally with the mouth or you cannot be saved; another camp says that it's wrong to ask Jesus to save you.

Both of these views are in error; and worse: one causes confusion and the other adds works to the Gospel of grace through faith alone. I prove this from the Bible as I cover Romans 10:9-13.

Also, included: a new "pastor", named Tyler Baker, adds works to the Gospel by saying that you cannot be ashamed of Jesus in order to be saved.

Here is Tyler Baker's video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cDapz2GG8ec&t=4m35s (he says that you have to say a prayer to be saved and that "believing is not enough" and then just before 6 minutes, he says that a person won't be ashamed to profess Jesus otherwise they can't be saved).

Here is where Tyler Baker says that you have to get permission from your local church to preach the Gospel. Starts around 3 minutes, but watch a little before to get the context: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cDapz2GG8ec&t=2m37s
