Dearest Victory Baptist Church Family & Friends,
I remember my first day of Kindergarten -- and its been all downhill ever since.
HA! Just kidding!
I must admit though, it was hard for me to let go of mama's legs that first day. And then there was a lot of crying and such that followed. But I'm sure glad that mama, the teacher, my friends, and many others encouraged me to hang in there. I would hate to be as old as I am and not even have the education and experience of a Kindergartner.
Yet the sad thing is, there are many Christians who have not progressed beyond "Spiritual Kindergarten." Then there are those who have. Add to this many others who have excelled beyond most, and they may even have thoughts that they've made it --- "graduated," if you will.
BUT, there is extreme danger in both kinds of thinking, that is, that a Christian need not progress beyond kindergarten or that he can go ahead and graduate in his faith.
Watch this short Midweek Bible Encouragement that I've titled, "CAN A CHRISTIAN EVER GRADUATE?" from 2 Peter 1:2-8 and Galatians 5:16-13.
Seated with you in God's Classroom of Faith and Learning, I am,
Your Fellow Student,
Pastor James Cook
