EVEN HOLLYWOOD CANNOT MAKE THIS STUFF UP !!!

In Numbers Chapter 21: 1-13 ~
Israel has victory over the Canaanites, Israel Complains later on (again), God judges their murmuring with serpents, but then God has Moses take a Bronze Serpent to atone for the sins of anyone bitten by serpents. Anyone who looks @ the Bronze Serpent will be healed from their affliction. Thus this was a pre-cursor to Christ, who took our sins on the cross and anyone who receives the gift of salvation and accepts that what he did was for our sins and receives Him as their Messiah, well, their sins are atoned by The Messiah who took our place on the cross!

Also in Numbers 21: 14-18 ~
The Hebrews were a music-loving people. Many instruments are mentioned in the Bible (Tehillim or Psalm 81:2). Joyful music and making happiness were part of their feasts and festivals. The earliest recorded song is in Exodus 15, referred to as, "The Song of Moses". It was a hymn sung to celebrate God's miraculous deliverance of the Israelites from the Egyptian army @ the Red Sea (Exodus 14: 3-30).

Thus, the Israelites sung as they dug life-saving wells in the Wilderness.

~Then Israel sang this song:
"Spring up, O Well!
All of you sing to it---
The well the leaders sank,
Dug by the nation's nobles,
By the lawgiver, with their staves."~
~Numbers 21:17-18

In Numbers Chapter 22: 1-34 ~
Do you always think that God wants you to do a certain thing and then you do that thing, but feel his displeasure or lack of peace? Well, that's exactly what happened with one who knew God's voice, altho he was not a part of Israel! Introducing....... Balaam! Balaam was summoned through noble messengers on behalf of the King of Moab, to curse Israel, as she camped out near the Moabites. But God told Balaam that he was not to curse Israel. Then the King of Moab sent more mightier nobles than the first group to persuade Balaam again. This time, God told Balaam that he could go with these mightier messengers. But, was God testing him? Watch what happens on the way, involving Balaam's donkey....and...the Angel of The Lord !

Thus let's begin to explore Numbers 21:1 thru 22:34, on another edition of Episode 54, of the "Christ's Well" series.
