Daily Devo #252: "Better to Be Poor but Alive than Rich but Dead!" (Ecclesiastes 9:4-6)

What are you living for? If it's money, power, pleasure, or fame, it doesn't end well... all of those not only don't make us happy, the pursuit of them makes us less happy!

In fact, Solomon basically says in Ecclesiastes that it's better to be poor and have NOTHING, than to be dead but "rich." One can spend their entire life collecting things, only to have life snatched from them in an instant!

Every day is a gift from God, to be carefully opened and then stewarded, with purpose and passion, meaning and mission... which is what Jesus RESTORES us to experience!
