The Bible warns us to not be drunk with wine. Ephesians 5:18.
(Yes, I am excluding a bit of wine in observance of the Lord's Supper or for medicinal uses, excluding that use just as the scriptures do.)
Holman Christian Standard Bible
"And don't get drunk with wine, which leads to reckless actions, but be filled by the Spirit:"

How do you know when you have crossed that line?

Trap for many Christians.
All would agree drunkenness not...
Crossing the lines from "feeling relaxed", to "feeling good", "feeling high" is easy.

Where do you draw the line when judgment is impaired?

Furthermore, I argue that grace is different from the law on this point regarding the priesthood.

Leviticus 10: 8- 11
"Then the Lord said to Aaron, "You and your sons are not to drink wine or other fermented drink whenever you go into the tent of meeting, or you will die. This is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, so that you can distinguish between the holy and the common, between the unclean and the clean, and so you can teach the Israelites all the decrees the Lord has given them through Moses."

"When they were in the Tent of Meeting"

Christians: no Tent of Meeting.

1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

Priesthood of Believers is 24/7

Priesthood of believers you are always "on duty"
Distinguish between behaviors if compromised
How can you teach if impaired?
Can you safely minister to those needing it?
Friend or family member stops by?
Give you call or a text?
Christians are called to honest, right? Do you tell them, "Sorry, I'm high so I'll have to call you back tomorrow?"
