Joseph of Arithemea and Nicodemus were two wealthy, powerful, yet secretive followers of Jesus, who came to Pilate to ask permission to give Jesus a proper burial. Unknowingly, they were fulfilling yet another Old testament prophecy from the book of Isaiah 53.
