As we continue to explore the Judges, in Chapter 3, as a result of Israel's disobedience to God, by worshipping other gods, they were subjected to Eglon, King of Moab for 18 years. God has mercy & compassion on their cries and had Ehud, a left-handed man, deliver them from Eglon. He killed Eglon and they also killed 10,000 Moabite Strong Men at that time.

After Ehud's death, in Chapter 4, Israel did evil again and God delivered them into the hands of the Canaanite king, Jabin, who had the commander, Sisera, over his army with 900 iron chariots. He oppressed Israel for 20 years. Again, God heard their cries and chose Deborah. Deborah was a prophetess and she would decide disputes that Israelites would bring to her, under the Palm of Deborah. She asked Barak from the tribe of Naphtali to help kill Sisera. Turns out that Sisera died at the hands of Jael, a tentwife.

Chapter 5 is a song both Deborah and Barak sang about the victory, including Deborah and Jael. The land had rest for 40 years.

In Chapter 6, Israel did evil again, were delivered into hand of Midianites for 7 years. The Lord hears Israel's cries from being oppressed by Midian and appears to Gideon, who is the least of the tribes of Manasseh,  to deliver Israel from the Midianites. Thus, let's delve into Joshua 3:12 thru 6:18, on another edition of Episode 87, of the "Christ's Well" series.
