Just what does God expect from you, Christian?
God spoke through Moses in Deuteronomy 10:12, what he said is still relevant today.
Saved but how do I live to please God?
Now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require from you…
Fear, respect, the Lord your God
Walk in all his ways
Love Him
Not as John did at the campfire – reserved; brotherly love; but AGAPE love
Adopted into God’s family. A child for his perfect Father.
John 21: 15 Jesus – do you LOVE me?
Peter –affection for you
16 do you love me?
Peter – affection for you
17 you have affection for me
Peter: yes
Peter’s love grew from there.
If you only like Jesus a lot; you’re failing Him
Serve Him
Part of the family but there’s more
Expected to serve
