12th March 2021 - 4) David's Submission. at last, David's come to the end of himself.... he raises the white flag to God. "thats me, I'm done.." And now we have the last 4 "my's" of the psalm... xv. Hear my prayer, O Lord. xvi. Listen to my cry for help... xvii. My weeping... xviii. An alien, a stranger.... as my fathers were. At last David's pride has been dealt with, and he is now knowing the peace of God as he has made his peace with God. David is ready to face the prospect of dying, as this world is not his home.... he's just a passing through.
