Divine Disruptions -
Acts 8:1-13 Lamont Ross, Senior Minister #DivineDisruptions
Acts 8:1-5 (NASB) 1 Saul was in hearty agreement with putting him to death. And on that day a great persecution began against the church in Jerusalem, and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles. 2 Some devout men buried Stephen, and made loud lamentation over him.
Acts 8:1-5 (NASB) 3 But Saul began ravaging the church, entering house after house, and dragging off men and women, he would put them in prison. 4 Therefore, those who had been “You shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, even to the remotest part of the earth.” – Jesus Christ God uses disruptions to our normal as a catalyst for growth. God uses disruptions to grow the kingdom and the individual. Divine disruptions can provide opportunities for self-discovery and ministry. It is in recognizing a need that we often discover the call to lead. Divine disruptions can bring out more of the gifts that God has given you. Divine disruptions provide opportunities for salvation. Don’t underestimate the transforming power of the gospel. People are just waiting to hear a message that presents them with an alternative to the life that they know.
