In this video we will see that the type of death that the apostle Paul is writing about in Romans 5 is referring to spiritual death and eternal death but not solely physical death. We can see that the reason this death came upon all men was because all had sinned, not because they were born sinners in Adam. We will also learn about how everyone from Adam to Moses who had no direct command from God or any Law written on stone, still died spiritually because they sinned against the Law written on their hearts (against the law of their conscience and reason). Romans 2:14-15 reveals to us this law that we can obey after we are born again. This is how they didn't sin in the same way Adam had sinned. Adam disobeyed a direct command from God, whereas everyone from Adam to Moses ended up going against the good and upright nature they were created with, sinning against the law written on their hearts and going against their God-given conscience.
