The Lord warned Isaiah not to follow the path of rebellious Israel. They were on path of destruction. The rebellious people were full of fear and dread. We who are His children have no need to fear or dread for He is our God and working on our behalf. The Lord was a stumbling block to rebellious Israel and Jesus was the final stumbling block for them and our salvation.
