Entering the King’s Service

Point 1: They were chosen

b… Then we see that they were trained…

Emphasis:
Our mindset has to change…

Point 2: Daniel resolved not to defile himself
(Dan 1:8-10)
a… Daniel resolved not to defile himself….
b… He asked permission.
c… We must also understand other people situation…

Point 3: Test us and see
(Dan 1:12 – 13)
The moral here is not the nature of food they ate, but the faithfulness of God.
God is faithful…
The contrast between God and his people: faithfulness.
If we want to be like God, we must learn to be faithful.

Point 4: God gave them knowledge and understanding
(Dan 1:17-20)
There is no limit to what God can do in our lives.
There is one important feature we see in the life of Daniel and his friends… faithfulness.
