• The right kind of weapons (2 Corinthians 10:3)

1. God wants your full attention.
2. God wants us to fight against the things that would cause our attention to be taken off of Jesus Christ.
3. Battle for you is in your mind, your thoughts and imaginations.
4. Christians need to get serious about serving the Lord.

• The right kind of killing (Romans 8:13)
• (mortify means to destroy the vital functions; to subdue or bring into subjection)
• The right kind of war (1 Timothy 1:18-20).
• Our Commander-in-Chief makes no mistakes
• We are at war
• Are you really focused upon the war with the world, the flesh and the devil?
• Whether you want to fight or not, the battle will be raged with you in the battle or on the sidelines.
• What are you willing to wage war against?
• Political reasons?
• Social reasons?
• Religious religions?
• Self-preservation?
• This war is about eternity, not just the here and now.
• The right kind of fight (1 Timothy 6:12)

1. What are you fighting for today?
2. Christians are fighting but not fighting the “good fight”
3. Cause of Christ worth fighting for?

1. What would you fight for?
2. Would you fight for your family, for your marriage, for other brothers and sisters
3. Would you fight to keep the world, the flesh and the Devil from getting those you love, or gaining a stronghold in your life?
4. How many enemies are welcome in your camp?
5. Our battle is to be all about spiritual warfare.
6. Are you fighting against every advance of the enemy?

• The right kind of soldier (2 Timothy 2:1-4)
• Four generations:

Paul, Timothy, commit to faithful men, they teach others also.

2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

• The right kind of armaments

1 Peter 4:1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; 2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

• The right kind of armour

Disobedience
Carrying grudges
Bitterness
Unforgiveness
Pride

How much of these destruction influences should we allow in our churches, in our families and in our marriages?

2 Corinthians 2:10 To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ; 11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

Psalm 133:1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
