Almost anyone is susceptible to burnout. The demands and pressures of life can challenge people physically, mentally, and emotionally. Management textbooks and seminars tell us that one of the primary means of dealing with stress and avoiding burnout is delegation-assigning authority or responsibility to others. Stress and burnout are nothing new, of course. And neither is the mechanism of delegation to relieve stress and improve efficiency.
