Sometimes we read Old Testament verses and can scratch our heads in disbelief about what was happening in that verse. It could be so grievously sinful that we can't believe it's happening, particularly to the people of Israel (who should've been the people of God). Yet the actions in those verses are a reflection of the heart and we need to ask ourselves as Christians, do we have the same heart?
