Main idea:
We must flee idolatry because life under the blessing and fellowship of King Jesus automatically puts us into opposition to powers and priorities that surround us in our broken world.
Outline:
1. To be a christian is to automatically share in the fellowship of King Jesus and his covenant community.
2. Satan and his demons are working hard to gain your fellowship at the tables of idolatry.
3. Flee idolatry because you love and fear the King who's table you feast at everyday.
Scripture References:

• 1 Peter 5:6-9
Application:
• Are we conscious of our fellowship with the Lord and his people? Do we live in that fellowship?
• Do you flee from idolatry or do you dance on the line? Does your life share in fellowship with the Lord and with his enemies?
• Are we conscious of our fellowship/war with the evil world system around us? Do you understand that your daily battles with sin are part of a bigger process of evil spiritual opposition to God and to God's covenant community?
• Do you come to the Lord in humility, leaning on his power? Do you see his power at work in your life?
