We do what we do not want to do, and do not do what we want to do. Yes, read that again!

Inside us is a flesh that is born under the law. Cursed is anyone who is unable to do everything that is demanded by the law. Many people fail to realise that they need a Saviour simply because they do not acknowledge their state of lawlessness. In relation to that, we may compare our good works that far outweigh our sinfulness and we think it pays off our wickedness. But the standard of God is perfection. We all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God!

Out of God's abundant love for us, He paid the price for our sin: His death on the cross. That ransom price has granted us redemption. The freedom to live from the bondage of sin into the liberty of the righteousness of Christ.

True freedom is found in the Lord!
