Based in part on the corruption of Jerome's Vulgate translation of Genesis 3:15, which in time was altered to say, "She will crush" the head of the serpent, the apostate Papal church has taught, in the words of Pope Pius IX: “All our hope do we repose in the most Blessed Virgin – in the all fair and immaculate one who has crushed the poisonous head of the most cruel serpent and brought salvation to the world” (q.v. Ineffabilus Deus: The Immaculate Conception). This translation, and the resulting interpretation, is demonstrably false and blasphemous on many levels.
