{Dear Father, strengthen us so that we do not draw back from the call that You have placed upon our lives. In this very day, we pray that Your light through us will dispel the darkness for many. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.}
Luke 4:18-19 ~ “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.
John 8:12 ~ When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
Romans 10:14-15 ~ How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?
