God has been having Amos bring words of judgment to Israel's neighbors, but now God turns his attention to Israel. Her sins are great! They can no longer go unanswered. Amos paints a bleak but just picture for ISRAEL which was fulfilled in 722-721 B.C. This isn't God's final Word on Israel. It was, however, the Word for that particular time.
