Recognize the Grace that is in Your Brother
Genesis 50:22-26
Halifax: 2 April 2017, 10:30 am
Today we come to the end of the book of Genesis.
- I began this sermon series on May 11, 2014, so we have been at it for almost three years.
- I must say that I am very excited today to show you what the Holy Spirit leaves us with at the end of this wonderful book!
- He leaves us with the words, “God will surely visit you.”
- Those are the words that stand out in the last paragraph of
Genesis at the end of chapter 50.
- The Spirit not only led Joseph to speak these words on His deathbed, but also recorded them for our encouragement as the conclusion of Genesis.
- It was a promise to help Israel at the time, but it is promise to help us today.
- God will surely visit you!
- May each of us take this promise with us from the book of Genesis as we complete three years with its pages.
