Our scripture for Sunday School, July 12th Lesson Scripture: Ecclesiastes 3:1, 7b; Luke 2:39-52 “Grow in wisdom in your Father’s house.” One question that often arise when considering the early lie of Jesus is how He became wise. Luke 2:46 And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.

He was God’s Son after all and the legal son of Joseph. Was Jesus. born with all the wisdom He needed to get through life? If not, did He grow in wisdom only through His relationship with His heavenly Father? Or did He learn something from His earthly father as well? As well se in today’s passages, Jesus learned from both.
