Exodus 1:15-16
Then the king of Egypt spoke to the Hebrew midwives, of whom the name of one was Shiphrah and the name of the other Puah; and he said, “When you do the duties of a midwife for the Hebrew women, and see them on the birthstools, if it is a son, then you shall kill him; but if it is a daughter, then she shall live.”

Exodus 7:15
Go to Pharaoh in the morning just as he is going out to the water, and position yourself to meet him on the bank of the Nile; and you shall take in your hand the staff that was turned into a serpent.

The spirit of pharaoh:
1. Destroys generations by killing things at the infancy stage
2. Is an identity thief. Pharaoh is a master at confusing us of our identity. He can turn a midwife into a killer
3. Distracts us from our real purpose. Moses was born as a king, but for 40 years he was a shepherd boy.

We are contending with the spirit of pharaoh....
