Before God touches our hearts and opens them to His truth, they are closed shut. We do not see ourselves as God does, or accept His truth. We do not experience in our inner life the reality of knowing Jesus Christ. But on hearing this message, like Lydia's heart it can be wonderfully opened. The transformation is radical as everything changes for good.
