It is vital to plant Bible-believing churches and to strengthen those that remain if we hope to reach England with the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is the pattern given to us in the Scriptures. God has provided an opportunity to plant this type of a church here in Oxford.

We have asked the Lord to establish a strong gospel-preaching church in this influential city and we believe He is honouring that request. Pray with us that God would give us favour as we seek to glorify and promote His name  in Oxford. Our desire is that the Chapel would always remain a pioneering work as there are always more souls to be reached! May many other churches be planted and strengthened through the influence of Oxford Baptist Chapel.
