In times of suffering and doubt, it’s easy to think God isn’t there, or doesn’t care. But it’s the exact opposite. He’s there, and he’s using this moment to prune you into being more like Christ. God is pruning you—and when you have that attitude, it’s just a little bit easier to suffer.

This is part of a larger message Beth Moore taught during the COVID-19 lockdowns in March 2020. She teaches on Romans 8, where Paul says that “our current sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.”
