Gideon's army had been whittled down by God to 300 men. Despite this, the Lord had convinced Gideon that he would be victorious after Gideon overheard a Midianite talking about a dream he had that was interpreted to show Israel's army winning. Even though victory was all but assured, the battle still had to be fought. How was this battle executed? In Lesson 23 of our study of Judges we learn the answer to this question.
